Japan Rail Pass

Kintetsu international can issue you the indispensable Japan Rail Pass for your trip to Japan. The Japan Rail Pass offers exceptional discounts on travel within Japan for visitors with Tourist Class Entry Visas. For more information on the Japan Rail Pass please click here. Tickets can only be issued a maximum of 90 days prior to the first day of activation. The rates below are in yen for a JAPAN RAIL PASS Exchange Order; the actual cost in local currency is calculated at the time the Exchange Order is issued. Please note that the pass prices are effective Monday through Sunday; every Monday the prices are changed due to the fluctuating yen. TERMS & CONDITIONS

Once accommodations (air, hotel, tours, etc.) have been confirmed, the following cancellation policy will be in effect immediately. No exceptions will be honored. Purchasing comprehensive travel insurance by TRAVEL INSURED is highly recommended.

Any cancellations made from the day of booking up to and including 15 business* days from traveler’s U.S. departure date will be subjected to a 50% penalty fee of the total cost of the land package.

Any cancellations made between 14 business* days or less from traveler’s U.S. departure date or any ‘no-show’ will be subjected to a 100% penalty fee of the total cost of the land package.

Any changes made to any reservations 7 business* days from traveler’s U.S. departure date will be subjected to a $5 penalty fee per person per reservation.

* Refers to Japan's business days and excludes both Japanese and US National holidays. Please note Japan’s time is 14 hours ahead of our current EST time. Please keep this in mind when canceling or changing your reservations as cancellation penalty fees will be applied accordingly.

Please note that we arrange accommodations for individual travelers and do not arrange group travel tours. We do not book accommodations at minshukus or youth hostels and traveling from city to city will be solely on your own unless you request and book sightseeing tours or a private driver and car. Japan does require an International driver’s license if you wish to rent a car. We strongly recommend that for those individuals who are serious about traveling throughout Japan to do some research and gain some information via internet or guide books.

Additional restrictions apply to certain hotels & ryokans. All rates are per person. Hotel rates based on double occupancy. All rates are quoted exclusive of applicable taxes. For Japan Rail Pass, eligibility restrictions may apply. No upgrades are permitted with the above airfare. Affordable travel insurance is available. Above rates are based on Weekday (Mon-Thurs) coach class travel. Weekend surcharge may apply for the basic plans.
